About

My name is Brady Houston.  I am a PhD student at the University of Washington and live in Seattle.  Currently, I am working to improve deep brain stimulation therapy (see Research).  I am interested in biomedical data science and research: acquiring, processing and analyzing signals from various sensors on or in the body to develop and/or improve technology, particularly neuromodulation.  My ideal job would require me to be continuously learning and adapting to make use of new advances in whatever field I find myself in.

I split time as a graduate student and a senior research scientist at the RATLab, a private research and development company run by Thomas Furness.  There, I have helped to develop a sensor package for acquiring various cardiovascular signals, and I analyze these signals to correlate them with cardiovascular health.

Here is my resume, and you can also find me on LinkedIn.
